Workplace Coaching for Employee Wellbeing

Staff wellbeing is vitally important for a successful business in any sector.

Many companies now see the value of coaching and send HR professionals and managers on coaching programmes.

Although this is great news, it does have its limitations.

Many staff will find it easier to open up with an independent outsider. For effective coaching to take place, a trusting relationship must be developed between the coach and the coachee.

Even if the result of the coaching is that the coachee moves on, this is still more beneficial to the company than retaining an unhappy and unfulfilled member of staff.

Workplace coaching can take place on or off the premises.

Workplace coaching can cover a broad range of issues including but not limited to:

  • managing stress
  • difficulty managing change¬†
  • dealing with personal issues that are impacting work such as divorce, domestic abuse or mental ill health
  • for new managers to understand a coaching approach in their management style
  • setting clear goals and achieving company targets.
